I photograph newborns and families throughout Raleigh, Holly Springs, Cary, Apex, Fuquay-Varina, Wake Forest, Garner, and surrounding Wake County communities. Families also travel from across North Carolina for my award-winning newborn photography.

It’s best to reserve your newborn session during your second trimester. We’ll use your due date as a placeholder and schedule the exact session once your baby arrives.

The ideal age is 9-21 days old, when babies are typically sleepier and naturally curl into those beautiful newborn poses. However, I happily photograph older newborns as well. Please do not be discouraged if your baby is older, I have had great results with newborns over two weeks. I personally like to know the weight of a baby more than age.

Don’t worry! Every session is scheduled around your baby’s actual birth date—not your due date. Simply contact me once your little one arrives, and we’ll finalize your appointment.

Something comfy and easy for the ride over. For the shoot, nothing at all! Most newborn portraits are photographed wrapped or wearing simple, timeless outfits that I provide. Neutral colors help keep the focus on your baby’s tiny features.

Yes. My studio includes a carefully curated collection of luxury wraps, blankets, headbands, bonnets, baskets, bowls and other newborn photography props. Everything is selected to create timeless portraits.

Absolutely. All wraps, blankets and fabrics are washed after every session using baby-safe detergent. Hard props are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before each newborn session.

Yes! I encourage immediate family to be part of your newborn session. Parent and sibling portraits often become some of the most treasured images from the day.

That’s perfectly normal. Every baby is different. I allow plenty of extra time for feeding, cuddling and soothing, so there is never any pressure. Your baby’s comfort and safety always come first.
