Indoor Studio Maternity Session

When it gets cold outside, a great alternative is an indoor studio maternity session! This is my first time really offering these type of sessions. I typically prefer to shoot outdoors! However, when the weather gets cold not all women like the thought of standing outside in a sheer gown. We had a great session in the studio recently! We got all the same shots as I would get outside. It is just that inside I can control the light and the heat! Ahhh, the heat!! This doesn’t limit your posing and it doesn’t limit your family being included.  We really did have a fun session. Mom got to have 3 outfit changes and I can’t tell you how many compliments I have had on this session. Maybe its because its a little different from the normal outdoors sessions you typically see on my site. I am now offering these indoor sessions. Reasons such as weather, privacy or just personal preference. I kind of feel like I have a studio so why not use it for some maternity sessions :).

What to wear at your indoor maternity session

That is the beauty of the indoor session. You can really wear as much or as little as you like. Some women like to incorporate some boudoir style shots into their session inside. Of course, this is always the choice of the client and I am happy to take beautiful tasteful images of your pregnant body. There really are no limits! All I want is for my client to feel comfortable and happy and to love the images they receive from their shoot. I know this momma did! I had lots of compliments from Facebook and Instagram on these shots. And to be honest it really was fun to play around and do something a little bit different!
